قد يلجأ ترامب ونتنياهو لتصعيد الهجمات ضد إيران لتعويض خسائرهما المحتملة في الانتخابات الأمريكية والإسرائيلية.
يرى المحللون أن استمرار الحرب يهدف إلى إجبار إيران على التراجع وفتح مضيق هرمز وتسليم مخزونها من اليورانيوم.
تواجه التحركات العسكرية تحديات تتعلق بالردود الإيرانية القوية وتأثيرها السلبي على أسعار الطاقة والاقتصاد العالمي.
يفتقر كلا القائدين لخطة متماسكة للنصر، لكن الدافع السياسي قد يدفعهما لتجديد المواجهة العسكرية رغم المخاطر.
