يعد إعلان ترامب عن إلغاء المساعدات العسكرية لإسرائيل مجرد خطوة أولى نحو إجراءات أوسع من قبل واشنطن.
يواجه نائب الرئيس جي دي فانس قلقاً من تراجع تأييد المساعدات الأمنية لإسرائيل بين الشباب من جيل الألفية.
يسعى المشرعون الديمقراطيون لفرض قيود على إرسال السلاح وفرض عقوبات على وزراء إسرائيليين يدعمون العنف في الضفة الغربية.
يتوقع أن يتنافس مرشحو الرئاسة في عام 2028 حول القدرة على الضغط على حكومة إسرائيل لمنع الحروب.
