وصفت كارولين ليفيت وظيفة السكرتيرة الصحفية بالبيت الأبيض بأنها من أصعب الوظائف السياسية وأكثرها تطلبا للتحضير.
أقيلت كاتي زكريا من المنصب بعد خمسة أيام فقط من توليها، لتسجل بذلك أقصر فترة شغل لهذا الدور في التاريخ.
واجهت زكريا انتقادات بسبب أدائها الأول المهتز وجدل حول دقة مؤهلاتها القانونية المعلنة.
أكدت ليفيت أن الرئيس ترامب يحتاج إلى شخص قوي وذكي وموالٍ لسد الشاغر في هذا المنصب.

قالت كارولين ليفيت، المتحدثة السابقة باسم البيت الأبيض، إن دور السكرتيرة الصحفية “لم يكن مناسباً بوضوح” لخليفتها كاتي زكريا التي أقالها الرئيس دونالد ترامب.
