“كوالكوم” تستحوذ على “Modular” في صفقة تقارب 4 مليارات دولار

“كوالكوم” تستحوذ على “Modular” في صفقة تقارب 4 مليارات دولار

تعتزم “كوالكوم” الاستحواذ على شركة الذكاء الاصطناعي الناشئة Modular في صفقة مبادلة أسهم تقترب قيمتها من 4 مليارات دولار، وذلك بهدف تعزيز حضورها في سوق برمجيات الذكاء الاصطناعي ومراكز البيانات.

وبموجب الصفقة، ستصدر “كوالكوم” ما يصل إلى 19.2 مليون سهم لمساهمي Modular ومن المتوقع إتمام الصفقة في النصف الثاني من العام الحالي.

وتمنح الصفقة “كوالكوم” إمكانية الوصول إلى منصة برمجية تتيح تشغيل نماذج الذكاء الاصطناعي عبر أنواع مختلفة من الرقائق، من دون الحاجة إلى تطوير كود منفصل لكل معالج، ما يضعها في منافسة مباشرة مع منصة CUDA التابعة لـ”إنفيديا” التي شكلت أحد أهم عناصر تفوق الشركة في سوق الذكاء الاصطناعي.
