لأول مرة منذ عقدين.. امرأة ترأس حكومة كوريا الجنوبية لقيادة التحول في مجال AI

قالت الرئاسة في كوريا الجنوبية اليوم الأحد إن الرئيس لي جيه ميونغ اختار وزيرة الشركات الصغيرة والمتوسطة والناشئة هان سيونغ-سوك لتولي رئاسة الوزراء.

وإذا وافق البرلمان على تعيينها، ستصبح هان أول امرأة تتولى المنصب في كوريا الجنوبية منذ 20 عاما.

وقال رئيس مكتب السكرتارية الرئاسي كانغ هون-سيك في مؤتمر صحافي إن من المتوقع أن تقود هان، التي شغلت سابقا منصب الرئيسة التنفيذية لشركة (نيفر) الكورية الجنوبية العملاقة للإنترنت، عملية التحول في مجال الذكاء الاصطناعي في البلاد، وفق وكالة "رويترز".

وأضاف كانغ "ستتمكن هان من تحويل النمو الاقتصادي في كوريا الجنوبية – المدفوع بالطفرة في قطاع أشباه الموصلات وارتفاع الصادرات – إلى نمو شامل يصل إلى الجميع، بما في ذلك الشركات الصغيرة والمتوسطة".

ومنصب رئيس الوزراء شرفي وإداري إلى حد بعيد في ظل النظام الرئاسي في كوريا الجنوبية.

ويستعد رئيس الوزراء الحالي كيم مين-سيوك للاستقالة من منصبه، وسط تقارير تفيد بأنه يعتزم الترشح لرئاسة الحزب الديمقراطي الحاكم خلال مؤتمر الحزب المقرر عقده في أغسطس أو سبتمبر، وفق وكالة "يونهاب".
