حذر خبير دولي من تداعيات اقتصادية سلبية كتباطؤ النمو وارتفاع التضخم والبطالة في حال وصول أسعار النفط إلى 120 دولارًا للبرميل.
يؤدي ارتفاع تكاليف الطاقة إلى زيادة أعباء الإنتاج والنقل والخدمات على الشركات والمستهلكين.
يواجه أمن الطاقة تحديات إضافية بسبب تراجع الاحتياطيات الاستراتيجية لدى القوى الاقتصادية الكبرى.
