ماكرون يزور الجامع الأموي في دمشق برفقة الشرع

زار الرئيس الفرنسي إيمانويل ماكرون مساء الاثنين الجامع الأموي الشهير في دمشق برفقة نظيره السوري أحمد الشرع، بعيد وصوله إلى سوريا.

وتعد زيارة ماكرون الأولى لرئيس دولة غربية كبرى إلى سوريا منذ تولي الشرع السلطة أواخر العام 2024.

بعد عشاء في مطعم في دمشق القديمة، توجه الرئيسان إلى الجامع الأموي وتجولا في ساحته.

وفي الجامع، زار الرئيسان ضريح النبي يحيى واطلعا على نسخة ضخمة من القرآن الكريم ووقعا في سجل كبار الزوار.

وكان الشرع زار الجامع نفسه في التاسع من ديسمبر (كانون الأول) 2024، غداة الإطاحة ببشار الأسد، حيث ألقى خطاباً احتفل فيه بالنصر.

ويعقد ماكرون مساء الاثنين محادثات مع نظيره السوري في إطار “غير رسمي”، تسبق محادثات رسمية الثلاثاء على أن يليها مؤتمر صحافي، بحسب مصادر مقربة من الرئيس الفرنسي.

ولم تشأ فرنسا الإعلان عن زيارة ماكرون قبل هبوط طائرته، لأسباب أمنية على الأرجح، في وقت لا تزال سوريا تشهد تحديات عدة في إطار مساعيها لبسط الأمن والاستقرار بعد 13 عاماً من حرب أهلية دامية.
