ما أسباب تصاعد شعبية اليمين المتطرف المشهد الانتخابي في شرق ألمانيا؟

بعد مرور أكثر من ثلاثة عقود على إعادة توحيد ألمانيا عام 1990، قد تبرز الانقسامات المستمرة بين الشرق والغرب بشكل صارخ في انتخابات الأحد في مقاطعة ساكسونيا-أنهالت الواقعة في شرق البلاد. وتشير استطلاعات الرأي إلى أن حزب “البديل من أجل ألمانيا”، المناهض للهجرة والمرتبط بعلاقات وثيقة مع موسكو، قد يفوز بغالبية مطلقة في انتخابات المقاطعة ما سيتيح له للمرة الأولى تأليف حكومة محلية، وهو ما سيكون سابقة لحزب يميني متطرف في تاريخ ألمانيا ما بعد الحرب.
