(CNN)– استقبل الشيخ محمد بن زايد، الأحد، الأمير خالد بن سلمان، على هامش زيارة وزير الدفاع السعودي إلى الإمارات العربية المتحدة.

بحث الجانبان خلال اللقاء “سبل تعزيز التعاون المشترك وتطويره بما يحقق مصالحهما المشتركة ويعود بالخير والنماء على شعبيهما الشقيقين”، بحسب وكالة الأنباء الإماراتية (وام).

وناقشا التطورات الإقليمية وتبادلا وجهات النظر بشأنها “بما يسهم في ترسيخ الأمن والاستقرار وتحقيق السلام الدائم في المنطقة”.
