متحدث خارجية أمريكا يرد على ادعاء طلب مغادرة موظفين غير أساسيين من السفارات في الخليج

نفت وزارة الخارجية الأمريكية مزاعم طلب مغادرة الموظفين غير الأساسيين من كافة سفارات منطقة الخليج.
أصدرت الوزارة أمراً بمغادرة الموظفين غير الأساسيين وعائلاتهم من السفارة في المملكة العربية السعودية حصراً.
جاء قرار تقليص عدد الموظفين في السعودية استجابة لزيادة الهجمات والاضطرابات التي تشنها جماعة الحوثي.
تقوم بعثات دبلوماسية أخرى في المنطقة بتعديل أعداد موظفيها لمواجهة التهديدات الأمنية المتزايدة.

(CNN)—عقّب المتحدث باسم وزارة الخارجية الأمريكية، تومي بيغوت، على مزاعم متداولة بين نشطاء على مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي تدّعي طلب واشنطن من موظفيها غير الأساسيين وعائلاتهم مغادرة السفارات في منطقة الخليج بشكل عام.

وقال بيغوت في تدوينة على صفحته بمنصة إكس (تويتر سابقا) مستشهدا بتدوينة تحمل تلك المزاعم: “هذا غير دقيق، فقد أصدرت وزارة الخارجية الأمريكية أمراً بمغادرة الموظفين الحكوميين الأمريكيين -ممن لا تقتضي مهامهم البقاء- وأفراد عائلاتهم، وذلك في المملكة العربية السعودية حصراً”…
