وأضاف أن المغرب سيبدأ في المستقبل القريب تجميع المحركات ومعدات الهبوط “بحيث نوفر قيمة مضافة أكبر بكثير مما نقدمه اليوم”.

وتعمل مجموعة سافران الفرنسية للدفاع حاليا على توسيع حضورها في المغرب عبر بناء مصانع لإنتاج معدات هبوط الطائرات ومحركات طائرات إيرباص.

ويسعى المغرب أيضا إلى ترسيخ موطئ قدم له في صناعة الطائرات المسيرة، التي يرى المسؤولون أنها امتداد طبيعي للقدرات التي جرى تطويرها بالفعل في مجال تصنيع الطائرات.

وقال بنلعتيك إن إنتاج الطائرات المسيرة يمكن أن يستفيد من الخبرات المتوفرة بالفعل في قطاع الطيران بالمغرب في مجالات المواد والتجميع والهندسة.
