أدت مشادة حادة بين الوفد الكوبي والسفير الأمريكي في قاعة الجمعية العامة إلى تعليق الجلسة لفترة وجيزة.
رفض السفير الأمريكي ادعاءات وجود حصار على كوبا معتبرا أن الأزمة تعود لحكومتها.
أدانت عدة دول مثل إريتريا وأوغندا وأوروغواي الحصار الأمريكي واصفة إياه بالعقاب الجماعي والانتهاك للقانون الدولي.
تجري الجمعية العامة حاليا مناقشة مشروع قرار لرفع الحصار عن كوبا للمرة الرابعة والثلاثين.

الأمم المتحدة- “القدس العربي”: شهدت قاعة الجمعية العامة، مساء الثلاثاء، حالة من التوتر حين قاطع وزير الخارجية الكوبي، برونو رودريغيز باريا، السفير الأمريكي مايك والتز، طالبا الكلمة بشأن “نقطة نظام”، بينما كان يتحدث عن مفاسد النظام الكوبي ويعرض صورا لحياة الترف التي يعيشها قادة النظام. رفض السفير والتز التوقف، قائلا: “هذه أمريكا. وكلما ستقاطعين سأستمر […]
