جاءت تصريحات المفتي في ظل موجة احتجاجات شهدتها عدة محافظات سورية خلال الأيام الماضية، حيث خرجت مظاهرات ووقفات احتجاجية رفعت شعارات تطالب بمحاسبة من تصفهم بـ”الشبيحة” والمتورطين في الانتهاكات المرتبطة بـ “نظام الأسد”، إلى جانب دعوات لمنع عودتهم إلى مواقع النفوذ والتأثير.
