ملتقى الحوار: الإفلات من العقاب بإثيوبيا يغذي الانتهاكات ويهدد فرص السلام في تيجراي وأمهرا

حذر ملتقى الحوار من أن الإفلات من العقاب في إثيوبيا يهدد فرص السلام المستدام ويغذي الانتهاكات الجسيمة بحق المدنيين.
وثق التقرير انتهاكات متعددة في إقليمي تيجراي وأمهرا شملت القتل والتعذيف والنزوح القسري والقيود على المساعدات الإنسانية.
أكد التقرير أن مسؤولية الحكومة الإثيوبية عن حماية المدنيين تظل قائمة بغض النظر عن وجود جماعات مسلحة أو اعتبارات أمنية.
دعا التقرير إلى إجراء تحقيقات مستقلة ومحايدة ومحاسبة المسؤولين عن الجرائم لضمان عدم تكرار الانتهاكات وتعزيز سيادة القانون.

أصدر ملتقى الحوار للتنمية وحقوق الإنسان، اليوم تقريراً بعنوان «المساءلة عن الانتهاكات الجسيمة لحقوق الإنسان أثناء النزاعات المسلحة: دراسة حالة تجدد الصراع في تيجراي وأمهرا»..
