منظمات إسلامية في مرمى قانون فلوريدا.. كير يعلق أنشطته ويستأنف قضائيا

أعلن مجلس العلاقات الأمريكية الإسلامية تعليق أنشطته في ولاية فلوريدا بعد دخول قانون تصنيف الجماعات كمنظمات إرهابية حيز التنفيذ.
منح القانون حاكم الولاية ومسؤولين آخرين صلاحية تصنيف الجماعات كمنظمات إرهابية وطرد الطلاب الداعمين لها.
رفض قاض اتحادي طلبا من المجلس لإلغاء تصنيف المنظمة كمنظمة إرهابية، وأعلن المجلس أنه سيطعن على هذا الحكم.
يوثق المجلس وقائع الكراهية ضد المسلمين الأمريكيين ويربطها بالحملات ضد الهجرة والاحتجاجات المؤيدة للفلسطينيين.

بين قرارات التصنيف ومعارك حرية التعبير، يجد مجلس العلاقات الأمريكية الإسلامية (كير) نفسه في مواجهة مع سلطات فلوريدا، انتهت بتعليق أنشطته والتوجه إلى القضاء.
