توفيت الطالبة الأردنية آمنة الرواشدة في اليمن إثر حادث دهس بعد وصولها إليها بهدف الحصول على شهادة الثانوية العامة بمعدل مرتفع.
أدى ضيق المقاعد الجامعية في تخصص الطب والضغوط المالية للأسر إلى دفع بعض الطلبة الأردنيين للبحث عن بدائل تعليمية في دول أخرى.
أكدت وزارة التربية أن الحصول على شهادات ثانوية من خارج المملكة لا يضمن بالضرورة قبول الطلبة في الجامعات الأردنية الرسمية.
دعا تربويون إلى مراجعة السياسات التعليمية وتطوير أساليب التوجيه المهني للطلبة لتقليل مخاطر السفر بحثا عن فرص تعليمية خارج الوطن.

وفاة طالبة أردنية إثر حادث دهس بعد يوم واحد فقط من وصولها إلى اليمن تعيد الجدل بشأن سفر الطلاب إلى الخارج من أجل الحصول على شهادة الثانوية العامة على أمل تحقيق معدل مرتفع يتيح لهم دراسة الطب.
