من أجل غزة.. مرشح لرئاسة بلدية أوتاوا يتعهد برفع علم فلسطين تنديدا بالعدوان

تعهد مرشح لرئاسة بلدية أوتاوا برفع العلم الفلسطيني على مبنى البلدية حال فوزه بالانتخابات تنديداً بالعدوان.
اعتبر المرشح أن تداعيات الحرب في غزة تمس سكان العاصمة الكندية وتعد قضية محلية.
أكد المرشح أن رفع العلم الفلسطيني يتماشى مع البروتوكول المتبع في العاصمة الكندية لرفع أعلام الدول الأخرى.
أشار المرشح إلى أن اعتراف كندا بدولة فلسطين في عام 2025 يزيل أي مانع أمام حضور العلم في المناسبات العامة.

تعهد المرشح لرئاسة بلدية أوتاوا الكندية نيل سارافاناموتو برفع العلم الفلسطيني على مبنى البلدية إذا فاز، مؤكدا للجزيرة أن حرب غزة شكلت "قضية محلية" تمس سكان مدينته وتستوجب موقفا أخلاقيا للتضامن معهم.
