مورينو يتولى تدريب منتخب كوريا الجنوبية مؤقتاً

أعلن الاتحاد الكوري الجنوبي لكرة القدم، يوم الثلاثاء، تعيين الإسباني روبرت مورينو مدرباً مؤقتاً للمنتخب الوطني.

ويتولى مورينو، المدرب السابق للمنتخب الإسباني، قيادة كوريا الجنوبية خلال ست مباريات في فترتي التوقف الدوليتين في سبتمبر ونوفمبر، مع إمكانية تمديد عقده ليستمر في منصبه حتى كأس آسيا 2027 المقررة في يناير.

وقال هيون يونغ مين، رئيس لجنة المنتخبات الوطنية بالاتحاد الكوري الجنوبي: أثار مورينو إعجابنا بفهمه العميق لكرة القدم الكورية وقدرته على تقديم مجموعة واسعة من البدائل التكتيكية. نأمل أن يساعد هو وجهازه الفني الجديد في تحسين أداء منتخبنا الوطني.

وتولى مورينو تدريب منتخب إسبانيا في عام 2019، كما سبق له قيادة أندية موناكو الفرنسي وغرناطة الإسباني، وكانت آخر تجاربه مع نادي سوتشي الروسي، الذي انتهت مهمته معه في أغسطس من العام الماضي.

وأوضح الاتحاد الكوري أن إحدى المهام الرئيسية لمورينو ستكون “تغيير أجواء المنتخب الوطني”، بعدما ظل منصب المدير الفني شاغراً منذ استقالة هونغ ميونغ بو في أواخر يونيو، عقب خروج كوريا الجنوبية من دور المجموعات في كأس العالم 2026.

ويستهل مورينو مهمته مع المنتخب الكوري بمواجهة الإكوادور يوم 24 سبتمبر.
