ميرتس يتعهد بالمضي قدما بالإصلاحات رغم الانتكاسات الانتخابية لحزبه

أظهرت استطلاعات الناخبين أن حزب البديل من أجل ألمانيا AfD احتل المركز الأول في انتخابات ولايات في شمال شرق ألمانيا، مسجلا أسوأ نتيجة للحزب المحافظ الرئيسي بزعامة المستشار فريدريش ميرتس منذ 1949.

وتعهّد ميرتس، بالمضي قدما في تنفيذ برنامجه الإصلاحي، قاطعا الطريق أمام التكّهنات بمغادرة منصبه قبل انتهاء ولايته.

ويتجه حزب البديل من أجل ألمانيا إلى حصد 38.3% من الأصوات في ولاية مكلنبورغ-فوربومرن متقدماً على الحزب الاشتراكي الديمقراطي الذي حصل على 35.5%، ومتقدماً بفارق كبير على المحافظين بزعامة ميرتس، الذين حصلوا على 5.5%.

قال المستشار الألماني إن الانتخابات التي جرت أفرزت نتيجتين مختلفتين للغاية، معتبراً أن نتيجة الانتخابات في ولاية مكلنبورغ-فوربومرن لا يمكن تجميلها أو التقليل من آثارها، واصفاً إياها بأنها “كارثة”.

وأضاف أن الاتحاد الديمقراطي المسيحي (CDU) خاض المعركة الانتخابية بقوة، إلا أنه كان الطرف الذي تعرض للخسارة في ظل الاستقطاب الحاد بين الحزب الاشتراكي الديمقراطي وحزب البديل من أجل ألمانيا.

وأكد ميرتس أن ألمانيا أصبحت دولة أكثر تعقيداً مما كانت عليه في السابق، مشيراً إلى أن الاقتصاد الألماني يمر بمرحلة تحول عميقة، في وقت أصبحت فيه طبيعة النقاش العام أكثر حدة وأقل ميلاً إلى التوافق.

وأوضح أن الثقة في مؤسسات الدولة تشهد تراجعاً ملحوظاً، معتبراً أن الأحزاب الراديكالية على اليمين واليسار تعمل بشكل نشط على تقويض هذه الثقة.

وقال إن هذه الظروف تجعل من المستحيل تأجيل القرارات والإصلاحات المطلوبة، مؤكداً أن بلاده بحاجة إلى المضي قدماً في تنفيذ الإصلاحات رغم صعوبتها.

وأضاف: “نتحمل هذه المسؤولية، وأنا أتحملها لأنني أريد دفع ألمانيا إلى الأمام”، معرباً عن قناعته بأن نجاح الإصلاحات لن يسهم فقط في تحسين طريقة عيش الألمان معاً، بل سيعزز أيضاً صورة ألمانيا عن نفسها ومكانتها في العالم.
