نائب وزير الخارجية الإيراني زار سلطنة عُمان

أجرى نائب وزير الخارجية الإيراني للشؤون القانونية والدولية كاظم غريب آبادي على رأس وفد دبلوماسي وقانوني زيارة إلى سلطنة عمان الاحد، التقى خلالها وزير الخارجية العماني بدر البوسعيدي، وسلّمه رسالة شفهية من وزير الخارجية الإيراني عباس عراقجي.

وبحث الجانبان خلال اللقاء تطورات المحادثات الجارية بين إيران والولايات المتحدة الأمريكية، التي تُجرى عبر وساطة باكستان، إلى جانب الجهود الإقليمية المبذولة لدفع مسار المفاوضات وإنجاحها، في إطار التنسيق والتشاور المستمر بين طهران ومسقط.

وفي أعقاب اللقاء، عقد الوفدان الإيراني والعماني اجتماعاً مشتركاً تناول المبادئ الحاكمة لعبور السفن في مضيق هرمز، مع التشديد على احترام الأمن والسيادة الوطنية للدول الساحلية، والالتزام بالقواعد المعمول بها في القانون الدولي.

وشارك في الاجتماع وكيل وزارة الخارجية العمانية للشؤون السياسية الشيخ خليفة بن علي الحارثي، إلى جانب عدد من المسؤولين من كلا البلدين.
