وزير التجارة البريطاني: المغرب أرض الفرص نسعى لمضاعفة المبادلات معه خلال الخمس سنوات المقبلة

أكد وزير الدولة البريطاني في التجارة الدولية، كريس براينت، اليوم الثلاثاء بالرباط، أن المملكة المتحدة تعتبر المغرب أرضا للفرص، وتطمح إلى مضاعفة حجم مبادلاتها التجارية معه خلال السنوات الخمس إلى السبع المقبلة.

وأوضح براينت، في تصريح للصحافة عقب مباحثاته مع وزير الشؤون الخارجية والتعاون الإفريقي والمغاربة المقيمين بالخارج، ناصر بوريطة، أن « حجم المبادلات التجارية بين المغرب والمملكة المتحدة يبلغ حاليا نحو 4.5 مليارات جنيه إسترليني »، معربا عن أمله في مضاعفة هذا الرقم خلال السنوات الخمس إلى السبع المقبلة.

كما أعرب وزير الدولة البريطاني عن رغبة بلاده في التنسيق مع المغرب، بوصفه شريكا استراتيجيا، من أجل إنجاح التظاهرات الرياضية الكبرى، ولا سيما كأس العالم لكرة القدم 2030.

ويقوم براينت، مرفوقا بوفد يضم نحو خمسين مقاولة متخصصة في تنظيم الأحداث الرياضية الدولية الكبرى، بزيارة رسمية إلى المغرب للمشاركة في منتدى الأعمال المغربي البريطاني الذي ينعقد يومي 2 و3 يونيو الجاري.

كما سيعقد المغرب والمملكة المتحدة الدورة الرابعة لمجلس الشراكة المغربي – البريطاني.
