وزير خارجية عمان: لا نؤيد فرض رسوم عبور على السفن في مضيق هرمز

أكد وزير الخارجية العُماني أن بلاده لا تؤيد فرض رسوم على عبور السفن عبر مضيق هرمز، مشيراً إلى أن مسألة الخدمات البحرية والبيئية المرتبطة بالمضيق يمكن بحثها طوعاً مع الدول المستفيدة من حركة الملاحة فيه.

وأوضح الوزير أن أي تفاهمات أو ترتيبات مستقبلية تتعلق بمضيق هرمز يجب أن تبقى ضمن إطار قواعد القانون الدولي، لافتاً إلى وجود توافق مع إيران على ألا تخرج أي إجراءات أو ترتيبات مستقبلية تخص المضيق عن هذا الإطار القانوني.

وشدد على أهمية الحفاظ على حرية الملاحة واستقرار حركة التجارة الدولية عبر أحد أهم الممرات البحرية لنقل الطاقة في العالم.
