  • سجلت ولاية نيويورك أول حالة وفاة مرتبطة بمرض الحصبة منذ أكثر من 30 عاما.
  • وقعت حالة الوفاة في مقاطعة لويس الواقعة في الجزء الشمالي الغربي من الولاية.
  • أكدت ولاية بنسلفانيا المجاورة وقوع خمس حالات وفاة جراء تفشٍ للمرض أصاب أكثر من 1430 شخصا.
  • شكك وزير الصحة والخدمات الإنسانية في حالات الوفاة الأولى مما أدى لنزاع سياسي مع حاكم الولاية.

أفادت وسائل إعلام أمريكية، أن ولاية نيويورك تسجل أول حالة وفاة مرتبطة بالحصبة منذ أكثر من 30 عامًا. ووفق بيان صحفي مشترك صادر عن إدارتي الصحة في المقاطعة والولاية، فقد وقعت حالة الوفاة في مقاطعة “لويس” الواقعة في الجزء الشمالي الغربي من الولاية. ولم يقدم مسؤولو الصحة أي تفاصيل إضافية حول الوفاة. وقالت
