وفد البحرين للباراتيكواندو يبدأ التحدي الآسيوي في منغوليا

وصل وفد منتخب مملكة البحرين للباراتيكواندو إلى العاصمة المنغولية يوم امس استعدادًا للمشاركة في بطولة آسيا للباراتيكواندو والتصفيات المؤهلة إلى دورة الألعاب الآسيوية البارالمبية “آيتشي ناغويا 2026”.

واجتاز اليوم لاعبا المنتخب إبراهيم رضوان (تحت 63 كغ) ومنن جوزي (تحت 47 كغ) إجراءات الوزن الرسمية بنجاح، استعدادًا لانطلاق المنافسات.

وتشهد النسخة الـ11 من بطولة آسيا للباراتيكواندو مشاركة 100 لاعب ولاعبة يمثلون 17 اتحادًا وطنيًا (MNAs)، فيما يشارك 87 لاعبًا ولاعبة من 18 اتحادًا وطنيًا في التصفيات المؤهلة إلى دورة الألعاب الآسيوية البارالمبية “آيتشي ناغويا 2026”.

ويخوض المنتخب البحريني منافسات البطولة الآسيوية يوم 25 مايو، قبل المشاركة في التصفيات التأهيلية يوم 26 مايو.

وتأتي هذه المشاركة بعد معسكر تدريبي أقيم في جمهورية كوريا الجنوبية، خاض خلاله اللاعبان تدريبات مكثفة ولقاءات قتالية مع لاعبي المنتخب الكوري ومنتخب جامعة كيونغ هي، بإشراف المدربين توفيق نويصر وفجر البنعلي.

ويطمح المنتخب البحريني إلى تحقيق مشاركة إيجابية ومواصلة حضوره المميز على الساحة القارية.
