وكالة: أزمة الطاقة تسرع التحول إلى الطاقة المتجددة في الاقتصادات الناشئة

تتوقع وكالة الطاقة الدولية تضاهي قدرات توليد الكهرباء المتجددة في الاقتصادات الناشئة والنامية نظيرتها في الاقتصادات المتقدمة لأول مرة بين عامي 2026 و2031.
دفعت أزمة الطاقة العالمية واضطرابات أسواق النفط والغاز الدول إلى تسريع الاستثمار في الطاقة الشمسية والرياح لتقليل الاعتماد على الوقود المستورد.
ستشكل الطاقة الشمسية أكثر من ثلاثة أرباع الإضافات العالمية المتوقعة لقدرات الكهرباء المتجددة البالغة 4800 غيغاواط خلال الفترة المذكورة.
أصبح أمن الطاقة هو المحرك الرئيسي للتوسع في المصادر المتجددة بدلا من الاعتبارات البيئية التي كانت تتصدر الأولويات سابقا.

توقعت وكالة الطاقة الدولية أن تتساوى إضافات الطاقة المتجددة في الاقتصادات الناشئة، باستثناء الصين، مع الاقتصادات المتقدمة بين 2026 و2031، بفعل أزمة الطاقة وتسارع الاستثمارات في الشمس والرياح.
