يسعى حلفاء الولايات المتحدة لإيجاد بدائل لشبكة ستارلينك بعد فرض إيلون ماسك قيوداً مفاجئة على استخدامها في أوكرانيا.
تعبر الأطراف الأوروبية عن قلقها من اعتماد العمليات العسكرية على نظام يملك ماسك القدرة على تعطيله دون تشاور.
تواجه البدائل المتاحة تحديات تقنية ولوجستية كبيرة مقارنة بنظام ستارلينك الذي يمتلك أكثر من 11 ألف قمر صناعي.
أعلنت أوكرانيا وفنلندا الانضمام لشبكة اتصالات فضائية جديدة، بينما طرحت شركة تيليسات الكندية شبكة لايت سبيد كخيار بديل.
