  • مرشحي الحزب الجمهوري يتجنبون التزامن مع مواقف ترامب تجنبا لخسارة الانتخابات النصفية المقبلة.
  • تراجعت شعبية ترامب في الاستطلاعات، حيث فقد قدرته على استمالة الناخبين بالقضايا الشعبوية.
  • ترمب وعد بمكافأة 5 آلاف دولار لكل مواطن إذا فاز الجمهوريون، لكن القليلين يتوقعون نجاح هذه المحاولة.
  • ترمب تماهى مع مصالح المجمع الصناعي العسكري ورغبات رجال المال والأعمال، وتراجع عن جل وعوده الانتخابية.
