فاز المرشح الديمقراطي عبد الرحمن السيد بمقعد مجلس الشيوخ الأميركي عن ولاية ميشيغان في انتخابات التجديد النصفي.
أظهر استطلاع رأي أن 60 في المائة من الناخبين اليهود أيدوا السيد مقابل 36 في المائة لمنافسه الجمهوري.
أثرت مواقف السيد من السياسات الإسرائيلية على قرارات الناخبين اليهود، حيث أدى ذلك لتباين في خياراتهم الانتخابية.
أيدت أغلبية الناخبين اليهود في الاستطلاع السيد رغم وجود تحفظات لدى البعض على مواقفه تجاه إسرائيل.

كشف فوز عبد الرحمن السيد بمقعد مجلس الشيوخ عن ولاية ميشيغان الأميركية، اختلافاً في خيارات الناخبين اليهود، بعدما أثّرت مواقفه من إسرائيل في قراراتهم الانتخابية.
