110 آلاف كم² تحت المسح السيزمي.. مصر توسّع عمليات البحث عن البترول والغاز بالصحراء الغربية

ما يعرفه ريفو عن الخبر

  • وقعت الهيئة المصرية العامة للبترول اتفاقية مع شركة أرديسيز لتنفيذ برنامج موسع للمسح السيزمي ثنائي الأبعاد بالصحراء الغربية.
  • يغطي البرنامج مساحة تصل إلى 110 آلاف كيلومتر مربع وتستهدف توفير بيانات جيولوجية حديثة لتحديد الفرص البترولية الواعدة.
  • يشمل المشروع مناطق جغرافية واسعة بمحافظتي مطروح والوادي الجديد لتحديث قاعدة البيانات السيزمية وتطوير البنية المعلوماتية لقطاع الاستكشاف.
  • يهدف التوسع في المسح السيزمي إلى خفض مخاطر الاستثمار وجذب المزيد من الاستثمارات لزيادة الإنتاج المحلي من البترول والغاز.

في خطوة مهمة لتعزيز أنشطة البحث والاستكشاف وفتح آفاق جديدة أمام الاستثمار في قطاع البترول والغاز، شهد المهندس كريم بدوي، وزير البترول والثروة المعدنية، توقيع اتفاقية بين الهيئة المصرية العامة للبترول وشركة «أرديسيز»، لتنفيذ برنامج موسع للمسح السيزمي ثنائي الأبعاد بعدد من مناطق الامتياز بالصحراء الغربية،
