5,208 قتلى.. حصيلة جديدة لزلزال فنزويلا المزدوج         

بلغ عدد ضحايا الزلزال المزدوج الذي ضرب فنزويلا في 24 يونيو الماضي 5,208 قتلى، بحسب حصيلة جديدة مؤقتة نشرها رئيس البرلمان خورخي رودريغيز، أمس الأحد.

وكانت آخر حصيلة أفادت السبت بوقوع 5,119 قتيلا، ولم تشهد حصيلة الجرحى البالغة 16,740 أي تغيير الأحد.

ارتفاع حصيلة ضحايا الزلزالين في فنزويلا إلى 3535 قتيلا

وسُجّلت حوالي 100 حالة وفاة جديدة خلال الساعات الأربع والعشرين الماضية، بعد أكثر من ثلاثة أسابيع على الزلزالين اللذين ضربا بقوّة 7,2 و7,5 درجة وبفارق 39 ثانية شمال فنزويلا وتأثّرت بهما خصوصا ولاية لا غوايرا الساحلية القريبة من العاصمة كراكاس.

ولم تنشر السلطات عدد المفقودين، وقدّرت الأمم المتحدة غداة الكارثة أنه قد يصل إلى 50 ألفا.

وتحدّثت تقديرات أخرى عن وجود 10 آلاف مفقود.

وتواصل فرق الإنقاذ إلى جانب متطوعين البحث عن ضحايا بين الأنقاض.

ويتكدّس في لا غوايرا حوالي 20 ألف شخص باتوا بلا مأوى، في مخيمات عشوائية أُقيمت في ملاعب وساحات عامة وعلى أرصفة.

وأفادت أرقام رسمية بتضرّر أكثر من 850 مبنى انهار 190 منها بالكامل.
