Zlatan Apologises To Seyi Vibez After Online Feud Over Alleged Song Diss

By Bukola Ogunsina

Nigerian rapper and singer Omoniyi Temidayo Raphael, popularly known as Zlatan Ibile, has apologised to fellow music star Seyi Vibez following a recent online disagreement over an alleged diss track.

The controversy began after Seyi Vibez accused Zlatan of mocking his Fuji Moto project through ad-libs featured on Adekunle Gold’s track, Life of the Party. In response, Seyi Vibez criticised Zlatan on social media, describing him as a “backup artiste” and claiming that his fashion business had become the major focus of his career.

Addressing the allegations, Zlatan denied intentionally taking a swipe at the singer, insisting that the perceived diss stemmed from a misunderstanding. He expressed disappointment that Seyi Vibez believed he would deliberately target him and extended an olive branch to resolve the issue.

“It actually hurts that my brother thinks I would diss him in any way. It’s literally a misunderstanding. @seyi_vibez it’s all love bro, when you’re ready to talk it out I’m here,” Zlatan wrote.

Reacting to the apology, Seyi Vibez accepted the gesture and thanked Zlatan for reaching out. However, he also urged the rapper to avoid making remarks that could be interpreted as indirect jabs in the future.

“Apology accepted, Egbon Adugbo. Please, next time, don’t do ‘backup artiste’ to diss me on a song. Thank you, Zlatan,” Seyi Vibez wrote on his X account.

The exchange appears to have eased tensions between the two artistes, with fans expressing hope that the misunderstanding has been resolved.
