Iraqi FA announces National Team kit colors for 2026 World Cup

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) – The Iraqi Football Association announced on Monday, June 1, 2026, the official kit colors that the national team will wear during the upcoming FIFA World Cup. The tournament is scheduled to kick off on June 11, 2026, across various host cities in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

Iraq is competing in Group I for the 2026 World Cup group stage alongside Norway, France, and Senegal. The technical committee finalized the uniform selections for all three group-stage matches based on the designated home and away tournament designations.

For their opening match, the Iraqi national team will wear their classic all-white kit when they face off against Norway on Wednesday, June 17, 2026. The Lions of Mesopotamia will stick with the white jersey for their highly anticipated second group fixture against France, which is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, June 23, 2026.

For their final group-stage encounter, Iraq will switch to their traditional green jersey. This kit will be debuted during their match against Senegal on Friday, June 26, 2026, as the team looks to secure enough points to advance to the knockout rounds of the historic tournament.
