#SHOWBIZ: Fly FM’s new ‘morning trio’ set to captivate 2 million weekly listeners
KUALA LUMPUR: The Fly FM Breakfast Show is embarking on a vibrant new era with a freshly minted line-up featuring Ean, Adam Raqeem, and Nadia.
The dynamic trio is set to supercharge Malaysian mornings with a lively mix of entertaining conversations, trending topics, engaging games, and the biggest contemporary hits.
Anchoring the morning slot is Ean, one of Malaysia’s most recognisable radio personalities.
Bringing over two decades of broadcasting experience to the table, he continues to steer the flagship show with the signature quick wit, humour, relatable storytelling, and impeccable impersonations that listeners have long adored.
Outside the studio, the veteran announcer is a proud cat enthusiast, guitar lover, pop culture buff, and fitness fanatic.
Expressing his enthusiasm for the new partnership, Ean said: “I’m really excited to have Adam and Nadia on the show. They both bring a different energy to the team, and that’s what makes this new line-up exciting.” He added that the goal is about “keeping what listeners love about Fly FM mornings, while bringing in a new energy that reflects Malaysia today.”
Infusing the show with his characteristic dry humour and effortless charm is Adam Raqeem.
Already well-known online for his football content and strong rapport with younger demographics, Adam describes himself as a massive sports fan, movie buff, and foodie.
He also brings a self-proclaimed “trivia king” persona to the airwaves, heavily influenced by a passion for anime and gaming culture.
“I hope our show feels like the kind of morning company people actually look forward to,” Adam noted.
“With Ean and Nadia, I want Fly FM mornings to feel easy to tune in to, fun to be part of, and connected to what Malaysians are already talking about every day.”
Completing the new-look trio is Nadia, a fresh voice on Fly FM who has rapidly amassed a dedicated digital following through her lifestyle, beauty, and fashion content.
Her candid takes and high-energy personality bring an authentic Gen Z perspective and a crucial female voice to the morning broadcast.
“As a content creator, I’ve built my voice by connecting with people online through stories of everyday moments,” Nadia shared.
“Bringing that into radio feels like a new challenge, and I’m excited to be part of a Breakfast Show that feels current, honest, and relatable to young Malaysians.”
This strategic overhaul comes as Fly FM reinforces its digital footprint to stay deeply connected with modern audiences across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X, and YouTube.
Listeners can anticipate a wealth of exclusive digital content, behind-the-scenes footage, and interactive campaigns online.
Reaching more than two million Malaysians weekly across both traditional and digital frequencies, the station’s refresh aims to strike a balance between novelty and nostalgia.
Fly FM content director Ihsan emphasised this evolving vision, saying: “Fly FM is moving in a fresh new direction with a Breakfast Show line-up that brings in younger voices and conversations that connect with Malaysians in the morning, so it feels more real and relatable.”
He further explained that the station is simultaneously “shaping a fresher sound that still feels familiar playing the songs people love, just with a more energetic and vibrant feel.”
