A frantic two hours as police struggled to assess threat before San Diego shooters opened fire

Two hours before the deadly attack at a San Diego mosque, the mother of one of the assailants reached out to police warning that her son was suicidal and had taken firearms. But it took police nearly 90 minutes to respond to the initial call.
