Adiong: House panel shakeup not linked to impeachment vote

MANILA, Philippines — The committee leadership changes in the House of Representatives last week were not linked to the affected lawmakers’ impeachment votes, Lanao del Sur Rep. Zia Alonto Adiong said Sunday. This came amid speculation that they were stripped of their positions for opposing the impeachment complaint against Vice President Sara Duterte.
