Addressing party officials, stakeholders and supporters during the collation exercise, Governor Yahaya said the primary election was conducted peacefully and in accordance with the guidelines of the party.

He added that the results from Gombe State would be forwarded to Abuja for final collation and official declaration by the national leadership of the APC.

Tinubu’s only challenger in the exercise, Mr Stanley Osifo, did not score a single vote in all the 11 LGAs announced during the collation exercise.
