BFP: Rescuers detect signs of life beneath collapsed building in Angeles

ANGELES CITY, Pampanga — Rescuers detected possible signs of life beneath the rubble of the collapsed nine-story building in Barangay Balibago, according to the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP). Fire Chief Superintendent Wilberto Rico Neil Kwan Tiu, officer-in-charge of the BFP, told reporters that initial operations detected three possible survivors, including a foreign guest staying at a nearby apartelle struck by portions of the collapsed structure.
