Cahya Mata shareholders re-elect group MD as director, approve other resolutions

KUALA LUMPUR: Cahya Mata Sarawak Bhd shareholders have approved all 10 resolutions tabled at the company 51st annual general meeting (AGM) today.

The shareholders also re-elected Datuk Seri Sulaiman Abdul Rahman Abdul Taib as director, allowing him to continue serving as group managing director.

Cahya Mata said Sulaiman, who has led the company since 2021, received overwhelming shareholder support with 99.21 per cent votes in favour of his re-election.

“The results reflect strong confidence in his stewardship as Cahya Mata continues advancing its transformation across business, governance and environmental, social and governance, it said.
