Coldwell Banker, Edafa, Prime Group launch PropTech for real estate startups

Coldwell Banker Commercial Advantage, Edafa Venture, and Prime Group Egypt have jointly launched PropTech Hub, a new investment and development platform designed to support real estate technology startups in Egypt and the wider region.

Building on the PropTech Program introduced last October, the initiative aims to create a structured ecosystem for identifying, funding, and scaling promising ventures in the sector.

PropTech Hub seeks to bridge the gap between real estate and technology by offering startups access to capital, strategic guidance, market insights, and a network of developers, investors, and industry stakeholders. The platform will support companies at both early and growth stages, with a focus on scalable solutions across development, operations, marketing, and investment.

The model rests on three pillars: Connect, Innovate, Elevate. “Connect” links entrepreneurs with investors and industry leaders; “Innovate” fosters new real estate solutions; and “Elevate” helps startups scale and expand their market presence.

An official launch event is planned to introduce the first cohort of participating companies and outline the roadmap for future partnerships.

Mahmoud Farag, CEO of Prime Group Egypt, said the platform is intended to structure investment in real estate technology and connect startups with growth opportunities through partnerships and capital support.

Essam Ali, CEO of Edafa Venture, described PropTech as one of the most promising global sectors, noting that the initiative will back companies capable of transforming how real estate is developed and managed.

Sherif Hassan, Chairperson of Coldwell Banker Commercial Advantage, emphasized that the real estate sector is increasingly shifting toward smart solutions, adding that PropTech Hub will connect innovation with real-world applications by bringing together key stakeholders under one ecosystem.

The founders expect the initiative to accelerate digital transformation in Egypt’s real estate industry and enable startups to deliver scalable, impact-driven solutions across the market.
