EgyptAir to start flights to Chicago, Los Angeles

EgyptAir is set to expand its North American presence with the launch of new direct flights from Cairo to Chicago and Los Angeles.
Chairman and Managing Director of EgyptAir Holding Company Captain Ahmed Adel confirmed that these routes are scheduled to begin operations throughout May and June.
This strategic expansion is designed to provide passengers with more flexible travel options and direct access to major American hubs, further solidifying the national carrier’s position as a leading airline in the region.
The announcement was made during a high-level meeting held at the company’s headquarters between Captain Adel and Ambassador Robert Silverman, the US Chargé d’Affaires in Cairo.
During the discussion, EgyptAir leadership outlined a broader strategy to increase flight frequencies across the United States, recognizing it as one of the most critical markets for inbound tourism to Egypt.
Ambassador Silverman expressed strong support for the initiative, noting that the new flights serve as a vital link for strengthening economic and cultural ties between the two nations.
He praised EgyptAir’s historical role in supporting international air transport and emphasized that these direct connections will provide a significant boost to both business and leisure tourism.
By bridging the gap between Cairo and the West Coast and Midwest, the airline aims to cater to the increasing demand for travel while fostering closer relations between the Egyptian and American people.
