Firefighters rescue toddler locked inside MPV in Sekinchan
SHAH ALAM: A toddler who was accidentally locked inside a multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) in Parit 8, Sungai Leman, Sekinchan, was rescued by firefighters today.
Selangor Fire and Rescue Department assistant operations director Ahmad Mukhlis Mukhtar said the department received a distress call at 4.51pm before dispatching four firefighters from the Sekinchan fire and rescue station to the scene.
“Upon arrival, firefighters found the child, aged over one, trapped inside a Perodua Aruz.
“The vehicle door was successfully opened using special rescue equipment,” he said.
The toddler was later reunited safely with family members.
