Galatasaray Demand €150m For Osimhen As Chelsea Move To Sign Nigerian Star

Turkish champions Galatasaray have reportedly placed a staggering €150 million valuation on Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen amid growing interest from Chelsea.

According to reports, the Premier League side have entered the race to secure the services of the Super Eagles forward, whose future continues to dominate transfer discussions ahead of the new season.

The speculation intensified following comments from Nigeria head coach Eric Chelle, who explained why Osimhen was omitted from the Super Eagles squad for forthcoming international friendlies against Poland and Portugal.

Chelle suggested that ongoing transfer negotiations influenced the decision to leave the prolific striker out of the squad.

“Victor Osimhen will not be in our friendly matches against Poland and Portugal because there may be a possibility of a club change,” Chelle reportedly said.

“Therefore, I preferred him to stay at home. If your mind is not 100 per cent here, going out on the field to play does not create a good situation.”

The remarks quickly generated widespread debate among supporters and football observers, with many interpreting them as confirmation that Osimhen could be on the move this summer.

However, the striker later clarified the situation, insisting that Chelle’s comments had been taken out of context.

Osimhen has remained one of Europe’s most sought-after forwards following a string of impressive performances in recent seasons. His goalscoring ability, physical presence and relentless work ethic have attracted interest from several elite clubs.
