Ghana Unveil Final 26-Man Squad For 2026 World Cup
The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has officially announced the final 26-player squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which will be co-hosted by the United States, Mexico, and Canada.
The roster, features captain Jordan Ayew alongside key stars such as Thomas Partey, Inaki Williams, Kamaldeen Sulemana, and Antoine Semenyo.
The team is composed of three goalkeepers, nine defenders, six midfielders, and eight attackers—a well-rounded lineup designed to boost Ghana’s campaign on football’s biggest stage.
Between the posts, Hearts of Oak’s Benjamin Asare earns a spot after impressing in the Ghana Premier League. He joins experienced shot-stoppers Lawrence Ati-Zigi (St. Gallen) and Joseph Anang (St. Patrick’s Athletic).
