Hamas confirms death of military chief Mohammed Odeh in Israeli strike

Hamas’s armed wing confirmed the death of its military chief, Mohammed Odeh, in an Israeli strike, stating he was assassinated along with his family. Israel had previously announced Odeh’s elimination, identifying him as the new leader of the Al-Qassam Brigades and a planner of the October 7 attack. This follows Israel’s ongoing targeting of senior Hamas figures.
