Nasarawa APC Governorship Aspirant Backs Wadada’s Candidature

A governorship aspirant on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the just-concluded primary in Nasarawa State, Liman Hassan Mohammed (SAN), has hailed the emergence of Senator Ahmed Aliyu Wadada as the party’s flag bearer for the 2027 election.

Speaking with journalists in Lafia, Mohammed said the declaration of Wadada as winner, had brought the primary election to a deserved end.
He urged all the aspirants to accept the outcome and work towards the victory of the party and its standard bearer in the general elections.

Mohammed said should anyone feel aggrieved by the results and want to challenge the process, such a person should abide by the party’s guidelines and that of the Electoral Act instead of resorting to violence.

He urged aggrieved persons to look beyond individual desires to collective party, state and country’s interests in whatever actions they may want to take regarding the outcome of the exercise, noting that the state and country are bigger than anyone.

“We should always appreciate the fact that power is given by Almighty Allah to the person He wants at the time He wants. This time around, in this primary election, God in his infinite mercy has decreed that it will be Wadada that will become the flag bearer of our party,” he stated.

He said the only noble thing to do going forward is to rally behind Wadada to enable him deliver on the mandate entrusted to him.

Barrister Liman promised to moblise supporters towards ensuring the party’s success during the general elections.
