Neale Daniher, MND campaigner and AFL great, honoured in Victorian parliament – video

Victorian premier Jacinta Allan honours Neale Daniher in parliament, praising the AFL great and motor neurone disease campaigner for choosing to raise awareness of the disease after his diagnosis ‘instead of stepping away’. Allan says there is now more research, support and hope because ‘Neale did that’.

Victorian MP Emma Vulin, who is also living with motor neurone disease, says Daniher contacted her following her diagnosis. ‘He didn’t have to because he didn’t know me from a bar of soap,’ she says
