New Event Developments launches LAYAL Residence project in New Capital

New Event Developments has announced the launch of its latest residential project, LAYAL Residence, in Egypt’s New Administrative Capital, as part of its continued expansion in the country’s real estate market and ongoing investment in new urban communities.

The project represents the company’s fourth development in the New Capital and its second within the R8 district.

According to Chairperson of New Event Developments Hamid Al Rgwy, the launch reflects the company’s continued confidence in the New Capital as an emerging hub for investment and urban development, noting that the company entered the market during the capital’s early development phases.

He added that the R8 district is considered a strategic area within the New Capital due to its proximity to major roads and service zones, factors expected to support long-term residential demand.

Al Rgwy said the project spans approximately 38 feddans in the R8 district, overlooking the Central Axis and located near the Diplomatic District.

The development includes a mix of residential products, including apartments, duplexes, townhouses, and twin houses, within a low-density master plan designed to balance built-up areas with open spaces.

Tarek El-Gedawy, Chief Commercial Officer of New Event Developments, said the project offers a variety of unit types and services, with planning focused on creating a residential environment characterised by higher levels of privacy and integrated amenities.

He added that the company is relying on digital sales and marketing channels, alongside flexible payment plans, to support demand and expand its customer base.

Head of Marketing and Public Relations at New Event Developments, Dina Anwar, said the company launched an early-stage marketing campaign ahead of the official project announcement to raise awareness through outdoor advertising, digital platforms, and media outreach.

She noted that the branding strategy aimed to establish a distinctive market identity while targeting both domestic buyers and Egyptians living abroad.

Meanwhile, Amr Hussein, Projects Director at New Event Developments, said the project will feature landscaped areas, recreational facilities, sports zones, walking tracks, security systems, and commercial spaces.

He added that building heights are planned at up to eight floors to preserve open views and privacy, with project delivery scheduled within approximately four years according to the company’s development timeline.
