MANILA, Philippines – Concurring magistrates in the denial of a restraining order sought by Senator Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa highlighted a fierce determination in ensuring that the judiciary will not become a sanctuary for those fleeing accountability. Nine Supreme Court justices voted to deny dela Rosa’s request to temporarily stop the implementation of the arrest warrant from the International Criminal Court (ICC).
