Performance Ensemble production Sinfonia tells the stories of older people in Harrogate

Last time I spoke to Alan Lyddiard about a year ago, he was planning to not exactly retire, but to step back a little from his role as artistic director at the Performance Ensemble, the company he founded in 2016. However, at the age of 77 he is in fact as busy as ever.
