PH, Japan start talks on sharing military info, maritime borders
TOKYO, Japan — The Philippines and Japan have agreed to start negotiations on the sharing of classified information, the delimitation of their maritime borders, and the transfer of Abukuma-class destroyers to the Philippines, President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. and Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi announced on Thursday. The two countries also signed an agreement on the avoidance of double taxation, Marcos said during a joint press conference with the Japanese prime minister.
